The users can also create, save and display their own images or animations thanks to a simple tool, while the less creative ones can download icons on the online library. Many of them are inspired by the 1980’s culture of video games (Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Mario…). For a nice visual effect, up to four Dotti lamps can be connected together to create images of 4x64 pixels.

The lamp can also be used as a clock or turned into a dice – it will display a random number when shaken. It can also make its pixels dance when music is playing.

Notti: more light and possible atmospheres

Notti’s functionalities are similar to Dotti’s, except for one detail: the lamp cannot display images but only colored light. On the other hand, Notti produces way more light than Dotti, and can create different atmospheres in a room. Up to four lamps can be connected together to create a luminous ambiance.

The lamp has also an alarm clock mode that displays a progressive light to awaken the user, as a replacement for their mobile phone ring tone.

The lamp can be programmed to display certain colors when you receive a notification. Its configuration is simple: every mobile app can be matched to a color thanks to a color picker. Light blue for Twitter, dark blue for Facebook, red for phone calls, orange for text messages… You choose! Like its big sister, Notti also has a music mode, which makes the light change in accordance with the music played on your smartphone.

Connected lamps Dotti and Notti both have a rechargeable battery and are iOS and Android compatible. They can receive data sent from a smartphone placed at a distance of 50 feet.
